In the heart of the Cote de Beaune, between Volnay and Beaune, lies the AOC of Pommard. This AOC has one of the best reputations in France.
The color of this wine is dark red with a purple glow. The nose is intense with notes of blackcurrant, warm aromas and light minerals. The wine gives good freshness and crunch, but at the same time also fullness and matured notes.
The fruity notes of blackcurrant and cherry return in the mouth, accompanied by pleasant tannins, roundness and a long aftertaste.
