Medium Sherry is a blend of Fino with Pedro Ximénez (also known as PX). It is sweet and amber in color with a nutty flavor. This fortified wine has an alcohol content of 15%. The Pedro Rodriguez & Hijos Medium Sherry is made from palomino and pedro ximénez grapes. You taste caramel, honey, cinnamon, cloves and dried figs. Drink it slightly chilled or on the rocks as an aperitif or after a good meal with blue cheese or a dessert with hazelnuts. Pedro Rodriguez e Hijos is a family business that has been producing Sherry with heart and soul in Sanlúcar de Barrameda since 1821. Since then, the company has grown into one of the most important wine companies in the region, with 500 hectares of its own vineyards in the so-called “Jerez Superior” district and with a total of 16 above-ground wine cellars (Bodegas) embedded in this Andalusian coastal town. Some of these Bodegas are centuries old and are designed and positioned in such a way that they are the ideal place for the years of maturation of the Sherries.
