Van Hamersveld Lodewijk

The Van Hamersveld Lodewijk is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and a little Shiraz for spiciness. The Lodewijk is a full and robust wine with mouth-filling aromas of black cherries, blackcurrants, dark chocolate, licorice and herbs. Beautiful with game, red meat, classic stews, aged cheeses and dishes with a full flavor.

Van Hamersveld Wines was created because Cees van Hamersveld, as the owner of several high-quality restaurants and hotels, including the famous Boutique hotel De Zwarte Boer, went looking for ‘the ultimate glass of wine’. To do this, people fly across the world to assemble these wines themselves. Always with farmers who work with respect for people and nature. The focus was on the vineyards Imbuko Winery in Wellington, South Africa and Domaine de Marotte in Ventoux, France. A delicious and honest range of wines with an almost unprecedented good price/quality ratio.
