No sex for Butterfly Rosé

This organic rosé from Syrah comes from a plot planted in 1989 on a south-facing slope. The bottom consists of thick layers of pebbles that once ended up here by the Rhône and Durance. Immediately after harvest, the grapes are crushed and the released juice macerated for 48 hours at 10 degrees. This is followed by vinification in stainless steel. Maturation then takes place in cement tanks for 4 months. This rosé is a real pleasure. Beautifully fresh and soft in taste with an aftertaste of red berries and light citrus notes.

Château Valcombe is located at the foot of Mont Ventoux in the French Vaucluse. Château Valcombe has increasingly invested in organic viticulture in recent years. For example, so-called pheromones are used in the production of No Sex for Butterly wines to prevent butterflies from reproducing. This means that no pesticides need to be used. All wines from this series are pure, clean and elegant. Fantastic as an aperitif or with dinner.
