Amphorvm Tempranillo

The organic Tempranillo grapes come from young vines. This cherry red wine has aromas of red fruit in the nose, with a hint of balsamic vinegar. The wine is balanced and full-bodied, with sweet and round tannins and a long aftertaste. The Amphorum tempranillo combines well with red and white meat, cheese and game.

Bodegas Mureda takes its name from the Moorish castle La Casa Mureda located in the former Kingdom of Granada. Many houses and names throughout the region have a strong Moorish influence. Nowadays Bodegas Mureda focuses on wine and olive oil. Valdepeñas is one of the most productive wine regions in Spain. Bodegas Mureda has more than 10,000 hectares of wine growing, of which 1,000 hectares are organic vineyards, located more than 900 meters above sea level. Some buildings on the vineyards are more than 500 years old and are restored to its original state.
